Why attend a Student Clinic?
Value for Money – the combined cost of an initial and follow-up appointment is £40.
An initial appointment with a qualified and experienced nutritional therapist could cost three or four times this amount.
Whilst the clinic is led by a final year student, your consultation is supervised by tutors who are experienced nutritional therapists contributing both experience and expertise to your consultation. Your individualised plan will be reviewed and approved by a tutor before it is presented to you.
What is a Student Clinic?
Training colleges and institutes operate student clinics to enable students to demonstrate they have the required knowledge, skills and ability to graduate. Membership of professional bodies, such as BANT, is only available to students who demonstrate they have met the appropriate occupational standards.
Students in the final year of their diploma work with clients, like yourself, whilst being fully supervised and supported by tutors who are fully qualified and very experienced nutritional therapists.
Consultations are observed by the supervisor and other final year students. This may be by observing the consultation in the clinic room or via video-link into a classroom. No recordings are made, observation is strictly for supervision and learning purposes only.
Appointments are limited and operate on a first come first served basis. Once booked, appointments are secured by payment within 7 days of booking.
Appointments: select Tuesdays from November 2018 – July 2019. To book contact Jacqueline.
All students are required to be professionally insured.
