About
Jacqueline is a counsellor, shamanic practitioner and naturopathic nutritionist who believes we all have an innate intelligence that strives for harmony, an optimal expression of health and wellbeing.
Alongside a traditional career in the computer industry, Jacqueline trained in psychosynthesis therapeutic counselling, with the Institute of Psychosynthesis, London qualifying as a counsellor in 2004. Futher exploration of the psycho-spiritual led Jacqueline to begin practising Shamanism and in 2012 she completed a three year professional pracitioner training with The Sacred Trust. More recently she qualified as a naturopathic nutritionist graduating with distinction in 2019.
She has a particular interest in how life experiences can impact our nervous system, health and fundamentally our sense of who we are.
This interest led her to learn more about Polyvagal Theory which combines an understanding of how our nervous system responds to our environment, potentially initiating a physiological stress response. If this becomes chronic it can lead to imbalances in our physiology, mental and emotional health.
How we nourish ourselves and our nervous system can be profoundly affected by how we feel and think about ourselves.
Jacqueline continues to extend her professional knowledge and experience through supervision and courses which enable her to best support her clients from a psychological, physiological and spiritual perspective.
As a Psychosynthesis Therapeutic Counsellor, she is registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy whose code of ethics she follows, including regular supervision.
As a Naturopathic Nutritionist, she is a member of British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and is a Registered Nutritional Therapist with the (CNHC)
