What is Nutritional Therapy?

Nutritional therapy is the applicaton of nutrition and lifestyle medicine in the promotion of health. It is recognised as a complementary medicine relevant to individuals looking for support to enhance their health and wellbeing.

How will we work together?

You and your life experience are unique. So this is where we begin, taking time to fully understand what you are looking to achieve within the context of your life to this point. Beginning with childhood illnesses, any accidents, life events, trips abroad, likes and dislikes.

You will invest time before we meet to complete a questionnaire which we will go through in your intial consultation. This is an opportuntiy to get everything on the table, warts and all, tell me what you are and aren’t willing to do. It’s important that you can be honest about your level of motivation so we can create a realistic plan or agree that you’re not ready yet.

After this initial consultation I will send you a personalised plan designed to reflect what you ahve shared, be realistic and achievable.

It’s your choice whether you want a one-off consultation or to invest in a programme which support you as you implement the plan and advise with adjustments along the way.

What Does “Lifestyle” mean?

Lifestyle is a broad term encompassing:

Will I need to take supplements or have tests done?

Depending on your issue it might be helpful to have some tests to provide us with specific information on how your body is functioning. These may be blood, urine or hair tests to explore hormone levels, cortisol, vitamin or mineral levels or even genetic tendencies.
